All sites which are considered for a Noise Boys franchised outlet must be evaluated and approved by the franchisor head office before any commitments can be made by the franchisee. The lease agreement must be signed by the franchisee. The agreement must be screened by an attorney before signature. Help and advice in relation to the special contractual requirements and negotiations with the landlord will be given by the franchisor. Each Noise Boys Service Centre site is selected with great care in order to ensure the success of our franchisee.

Site Selection Criteria:

  • On main or busy roads
  • Visibility from the road/street frontage
  • Customer-friendly or easy access and exit
  • Ample parking for customers
  • In business or normal trading areas or shopping centres in suburbs
  • Close to, or between motor, related-businesses
  • Close to banks
  • Rentals must be reasonable and affordable for the specific area
  • Rental must not exceed 10% of total turnover after 18 months’ trading
  • The premises must fit the general site requirements of Noise Boys
  • No viability studies are done on specific location

Specific Shop Requirements:

  •  Approximate floor area – 350m² to 450m²
  • 4m Ceiling height
  • Concrete floor (min. thickness 150mm), with epoxy paint
  • Three phase power
  • Space for a minimum of 8 working bays, approximately 8m x 4m
  • Sufficient lighting
  • Direct access from road onto each work bay
  • Parking space (min 8 cars)
  • Reception area approximately 15m²
  • Customer waiting area approximately 12m²
  • Small kitchen with wash basin
  • Ablution blocks and toilets (customers and staff)
  • Sufficient space for pole & fascia signage (220v electricity point)
  • Vehicle washing facility
  • Waste bin area for discarding replacement parts and exhausts
